With Tom Elliot and James Talia we talk a lot about the state of commercial television in general, its past, its future and the way things currently stand.
It’s a great chat with some eye or ear opening insights and predictions.
What are your predictions for the future of television?

The Dart Center is the organisation dealing with trauma in the news media.

The site has links to the Australasian arm. Brett McLeod has produced a DVD documentary about news trauma which is now available through the site.
Thanks Boxcutters! This week’s ep was a real treat. Tom E and James T together plus some meaty news-related material to talk about. It doesn’t get much better.
I couldn’t agree more with Daniel Boxcutter – what a great ep. I love that this episode followed directly after the one with Adam Richard – talk about compare and contrast. Both episodes were super entertaining but really come from different ends of the TV spectrum.
Interestingly, The Age’s Next section on Tuesday – the day after we recorded this episode – had an article about the numbered days of television as we now know it that both Tom Elliott and I came across.
Check it out at this page.
The Media Report on RN did a story on the Dart Centre at the start of the year.
There’s a transcript on their website, no audio.
