Something we forgot to mention on the show this week – though we did run it in the blog – was the passing of Don Adams – Maxwell Smart.

Australian audiences aren’t generally aware that Get Smart actually returned to the airwaves in the mid-90s. It only ran 7 episodes and didn’t rate particularly well. Don Adams reprised his role as Maxwell Smart but, through the pattern of the most inept workers getting all the promotions, he was the chief of Control. However, he wasn’t the main character in this reincarnation of the classic series. Instead, Andy Dick played Zach Smart – son of Max and 99 – as the main character, and just couldn’t carry the series in the end.

All of that is a roundabout way to introduce something I found with Andy Dick. Check it out here

I enjoyed the podcast – looking forward to more. You and Josh are hilarious together. Glad there are others out there gnashing their teeth at the shoddy treatment of late-night TV watchers. But I have one big gripe: I was watching the 7.30 Report that night and I couldn’t stop staring at Kerry O’Brien’s ears. I’ve never noticed them before. It’ll never be the same again! Your fault.
