I’ve just been interviewed for Hack about downloading television shows and why its good or bad. As we know, it’s a topic very close to my heart (read: I love downloading TV). Listen to Hack at 5:30 today or check out the website over here.
*UPDATE: Listen to the article as an mp3 here.

Hack, im downloading Top Gear Turin Winter Olympic Special right now!!! Why would anyone want to watch it in a couple of years on TV when it is relevent today. Hooray for d/l’s
Liked the interview on JJJ. Wish there was more emphesis on pay per view. Wish they’d do more. Poor scheduling was bashed around quite a bit and one person even approached the topic of clipping. I prefer to pay and dload and do where ever possible. I primarily download because a) no adverts. b) poor programming (eg, babylon 5 and the star-trek series were a classic example) c) clipping.
Hey Josh,
Nice interview on Hack, I’m glad to hear there are so many others downloading Arrested Development.
Hey,
Nice interview. Probably the best thing about the show was that I discovered the Boxcutters Podcast through it
There were many good justifications for why so many Australians download. However, my only criticism of the report is that there wasn’t enough emphasis the fact that a good majority of Aussies download US TV shows because some of them won’t air here in the foreseeable future and can not be purchased.
A recent example would be Survivor Panama.
Keep up the good work gents.
