We’ve seen more of him in the ads than in the driver’s seat in recent years so it’s perhaps more of a shock that Peter Brock was behind the wheel when he was killed today, slamming into a tree when he lost control going around a hairpin bend in a rally.
I guess it’s just one of those weeks.

Did anyone else find it odd that channel 10 the “Home of Motorsport” didn’t try to run a Peter Brock special over the weekend ?

They are running one this weekend. I think they have done the right thing too. Rather than “pump one out” as fast as possible. They have waited and developed a fitting tribute to the legend that was Peter Brock.
very sad news, i was really shocked. i went into disbelief. such a great man. i do agree though, it was strange that ten didn’t have a rememberance show on when they showed sports tonight.
