Hot on the heels of Heroes Jericho becomes the second of the new fall season to get the nod for a full series.
Good to see, although I am sure Brett would think maybe they should have just picked up every second ep!!
And Ugly Betty makes it three. Good news for Channel 7 who have both Betty and Heroes.
EDIT: Brothers And Sisters picked up as well.

Oi um when is seven gonna air the final season of alias if is gonna at all or should i just get it in bittorrent?

Speaking of things Seven, they’ve recently started screening THE UNIT (Wednesdays 9.30). This is the first season; the second season is currently running in the US. I expected a bit more from David Mamet (co-creator, EP and writer) but then I have high expectations and hey, it is television. I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit. There’s some classic Mamet-style dialogue delivery and this is balanced with plenty of action. It’s certainly much better viewing than a lot of what’s around.

Haven’t give The Unit a look all though I think it’s doing ok in the US.
And Alias? Who knows? Bloody Channel 7! They did say at one point that it would be back in the second half of this year, but don’t hold your breath. Maybe summer.
It’s a good season too. The first few eps are little ‘mehh’, but then it really picks up to an exciting conclusion. Well worth a look, especially if you are an Alias fan.
