At Boxcutters we’re all about choice. That’s why from next week you will have the option of listening live on the airwaves or via the more traditional podcast. But more of that later.
This week we take advantage of the old format and luxuriate in the freedom of being able to take our time. There is news, pork, a look at what’s coming our way over summer, the final in out fall line up series, talk of comedies and South Park and the reurn of the old favourite I Don’t Buy It. Plus I say a bunch of stuff nobody agrees with.

Live on the airwaves! And I haven’t even listened to the podcast yet - that’s how excited I am. Ok, maybe I should listen to the podcast before I get too excited, though. There could be a catch.
No, keep commenting. I like the pre-emptive strikes - people theorising about the show before they listen.
I love the show guys, but you really really need to do your homework. Craig Ferguson and someone mentioned in the host of The Late Late Show, and yes Michael Richards was on satellite but it was live to the audience as Michael mentioned he heard laughing from the audience. Anyways congratulations on the RRR thing but you really need to scratch up on your facts.
Excuse my grammar sorry, I meant to say about Craig:
Craig Ferguson as someone mentioned is the host of The Late Late Show
That’s fantastic news about going radio. Well done!
Ooops. I’m sure we would have realised Richards was live had we actually been able to watch it on tv (thanks Channel 9). And the info I had at the time was that it was a recorded message.
Also, no need to apologise over incorrect spelling or grammar - if we did I’d have to spend as much time apologising as posting!
Boys, I haven’t heard the podcast yet so forgive me for going off half cocked.
If the news is what I think it is that’s AWESOME!!!
I just hope that those of us not in melbourne will not miss out on any of the “rich boxcutters experience”.
well i’ve only listened to half the show but had to interrupt my viewing pleasure to post this link for Josh. It combines two of his interests - YouTube and The Amazing Race.
Recently, that hick couple you mentioned (David & Mary)were the beneficiaries of an Oprah like outpouring of chat show gifts. These were delivered by Rosie O’Donnell on The View (US daytime talk fest on the ABC network):

and congrats on RRR!
Great. As long as the Podcast stays I am happy. Partly because I don’t get a chance to listen to the radio, so the Podcast is there when I have the time.
Loving the Fall review, any comments on either The State Within or Robin Hood, both BBC series being shown in the US. State Within is only 6 episode so will download regardless but was wondering if Robin Hood was any good, as am already 3Gb behind, I mean 10 episodes.
Keep up the great work.
Forgot to make this comment. The channel 9 earphone commentary thing has been advertised by “The Advertiser” here in Adelaide, as they had a competition where you could win one. Also I saw one time in the coverage where they showed a kid who had one and they raved on about it being an FM radio that could also pick up the commentary coverage.
BTW: These have been around for a while with Rugby Union where you can pick up the Refs mic and their conversations. I think they are called Event Radios.
And yes they are a waste of money!
Thanks for that Nigel P. I was beginning to think I was crazy and had just made the whole thing up.
And JB - I’ll see if I can check out State Within and Robin Hood too.
It’s easier to follow the states shows, just because of all the din about them.
