With the much awaited John From Cincinnati less the a week away I thought I’d post this short but revealing David Milch article.
Especially interesting in regards to his reasons for originally saying he wanted four seasons of Deadwood.

Alas, the news about “John From Cincinnati” according to Tim Goodman is not good. I like his weekly deconstructions of The Sopranos so I have some faith in his judgement, but of course we will have to check it out for ourselves. I’m only two-thirds through the 2nd season of Deadwood so I have plenty of Milch to keep me going for a bit.
