   You know what I mean… she’s a bit of a horseface, but I’m sure they’ve got a better file picture without her gob open like a mad woman. I’m just voicing my (continuing) grievance against opinion taking precedence over reportage in most “journalism” these days.

   I see exactly what you mean.

   Although, I don’t ever remember seeing a photo of Mercedes Corby in which her mouth is closed.

   On the topic of editorialism in images, News Ltd seems to have no trouble finding pictures of Howard & co. looking firm and proud and in control, even when they’re not. Yesterday afternoon was an aberration.

   Oh, and the Fairfax press is getting grubby. Since January alone the decline is appalling. It’s become Murdoch for lefties.*
