   Was great to hear Brett talking more! Sometimes it seems like he's just the panel operator who has a few news items and that's it!

   Guys, any idea if Eastbound and down is coming to Aus (Foxtel or FTA). Sorry John, but it sounds interesting.

   @alex: When we have people in for interviews, I can be a bit distracted if they're not great in their mic technique, with riding levels so they're high enough while the subjects are talking but then not too high while others are talking which leads to a strange effect as the loud mic picks up the other voices. Gen was great and I could set her and get more involved.

   Also, I was loving my deep, husky voice – because of the shouting on the footy field on Sunday – and actually just used it because I literally loved the sound of my own voice. Normally I find it a little nasally with teeth and tongue lacking in enunciation.

   Along with it sometimes being a little hard to get a word in edgewise in the studio, sometimes it's too much work to be more dominant.

   I had *no idea * that Bananas in Pajamas was Australian! I watched it on the CBC every morning when I was growing up- I always assumed it was CanCon. I can't believe that they would dream of messing with the formatting. For shame.
